Big Marble Farms Expands Again!
Luckily we planned for this! During the previous phase II expansion, a large portion of the infrastructure and foundation was established for this 10 acre expansion, with another 10 acres to follow. Picking up where we left off, Dynamo Electric played a significant role in bringing this project to life.

With a size of over 1.5 million square feet, Big Marble Farms is the largest greenhouse in Alberta. It’s home to over 300,000 cucumber plants, 60,000 tomato vines and 17,400 grow lights that add to the warm, sunny glow of their farm.

THE CHALLENGE
One of the bigger challenges of this expansion involved integration of Priva climate control automated systems, supplemental lighting power and services, and generator control. Disruption in the supply chain brought additional stress to scheduling and build management. Dynamo Electric supplied transformers, distribution panels, climate control panels and lighting panels.
THE VALUE
We were able to supply materials, products and installation on time despite the supply chain problem we encountered. Lighting panels were supplied as a cost effective and reliable way to activate lights while facilitating load control for the generators. We were on site for commissioning and continue to provide support.
