Lighting Panel Features and Benefits
Flexible switching
The lights in an area can be switched on slowly to reduce the impact on the electrical grid. Lighting paterns such 50/100 percent lighting or other schemes can be accommodated for increased efficiency. The growing computer can control the panels with a single program.
Remote access from office or phone
With an app on a smart phone it is possible to control the individual light circuits so a service technician can remove individual lights safely. It is also possible to override a whole zone from the office for growing computer upgrading and maintenance.
Panel cooling and automatic shutdown
Heat is the enemy in lighting panels due to the constant nature of the load. The panels are cooled by oversized cooling fans to ensure low internal temperatures. If the dust filters on the panel become plugged and the panel cannot cool it will safely shutdown to prevent damage.
Safety and other protection
All our panels (not just our lighting panels) have a cETLus approval so they are safe and legal in Canada and USA. Breakers are accessible without exposing any live parts. The panels have surge protection to help protect equipment from poor power quality.
